Spring 2020 Youth Lacrosse Season Information 

Spring Youth Lacrosse Information:

  • The spring youth lacrosse season is open to all girls in grades 3 through 8 and runs from February through mid-May.
  • Warwick Girls Youth Lacrosse teams are divided into 3 separate teams, usually based on their grade level: 3-4, 5-6 & 7-8.


Youth Club Registration Fees

  • Club registration fees are $125 for girls in grades 5-8 and $90 for girls in grades 3-4 for the 2020 Spring Season. 


US Lacrosse Fee:

  • An additional $30 is due directly to the US Lacrosse Association for a yearly membership in US Lacrosse. This is a mandatory requirement for all girls in our club for insurance purposes. 
  • This fee must be paid directly to US Lacrosse by going online  to www.uslacrosse.org. Our club name registered with US Lacrosse is WARWICK MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS LACROSSE CLUB

How to Register?
  • After you have your daughter's US Lacrosse number, complete the online registration form found on this website.  ALL players MUST have their US Lacrosse membership current and have their membership numbers submitted to the Warwick Girls Lacrosse Club before practice begins in February.

  • Registration for the Spring Season is open from December 1st, 2019 through January 31st, 2020.  
  • After the deadline, registration cost will increase with the addition of a $15 late fee.

Payments:

  • Spring season payments should be made on the website via our secure PayPal account located on the registration page. 
  • If necessary, checks can be made out to Warwick Girls Youth Lacrosse and given directly to a board member. You may contact us via email for a mailing address.

Fundraisers: 

  • We plan to hold only a one or two fundraisers during the season. The income generated from the fundraisers helps to purchase new equipment, add additional field rental time, and pay for team tournament entry fees.  

 

Uniforms: 

  • Team jerseys will be provided by the club and the cost is included in your registration fee.  


Equipment: 

  • Players must each have their own protective goggles, mouth guards and GIRLS Lacrosse sticks (not provided by the club).
  • Dick's Sporting Goods in Lancaster, Longstreth in Spring City, and Angelo's Soccer & Lacrosse Corner in Lancaster sells equipment and complete youth starter packages in the store and online.

Practice & Games:  

  • Generally, we hold one or two weekly indoor practices at Keystone Baseball Academy in Manheim or at one of the Warwick Elementary School Gyms in February and March. Once the weather allows, we move outdoors in towards the end of March, practices increase to twice a week for most teams.  For the last several years, the fields behind Bonfield Elementary School are used for all of our team practices.
  • Our website's calendar will continually have updated practice times and locations listed. 
  • Our club plays in the Lancaster Areas Girls Lacrosse Association (LAGLA) League against teams from Lancaster, Lebanon, York & Berks Counties. 
  • Games are held on Saturdays from late-March through mid-May.  One or two games are usually played each Saturday at one of the different host locations in the county. 
  • Each year, we usually participate in different one-day tournaments that can be held on non-LAGLA Saturdays and Sundays.
    • Girls in grades 3-4 usually play in 1 tournament per season. 
    • Girls in grades 5-6 & 7-8 usually play in 2 tournaments per season.

Payment Refunds:
  • Prior to March 1st, season registration fees will be refunded minus a 10% processing fee.
  • After March 1st, season registration fee refunds will not be provided. In extraordinary situations or in the cases of player injuries as a result of playing lacrosse with our club, the club's officers may vote to allow for partial refunds.
